If You're Visiting the Planetarium

The Foothill-De Anza Community College District has updated its masking policy to make masking recommended in public and indoor spaces. Beginning Friday, September 30, 2022, the Planetarium will suggest to school groups, students and visitors that masking is highly recommended while visiting. The Planetarium is an enclosed theater space and leaving doors or windows open is not an option. While we have multiple air purifiers in the building, please take that into consideration when visiting us.

All visitors to the Planetarium are asked to observe the following requirements, in line with college policy and guidelines developed to protect your health and the health of others.

  • Face masks recommended to be worn at all times while inside the museum and other campus buildings.
  • All staff are vaccinated and will maintain a safe distance from viewers members at all times.
  • Free parking is available in Lot E on the De Anza Campus.
