How to Reach Student Services
On this webpage, you'll find a list of campus offices and services, and how to reach them in person or online. You can also check individual department or program websites (individual links are included below) for detailed schedules and contact information.
Winter Closures
All offices and programs will be closed on these dates:
- Winter break: Friday, Dec. 23-Monday, Jan. 2
- Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday: Monday, Jan. 16
- Presidents' Holiday: Friday, Feb. 17-Monday, Feb. 20
Remember the Rules for Coming to Campus
If you are planning to be on campus – for a class, a meeting or any reason:
- You must upload proof of COVID-19 vaccination – and, if eligible, proof of a COVID-19 booster
- Face masks are strongly recommended on campus, and may be required in some offices or by individual instructors in their classrooms.

Admissions and Records
Admissions and Records will be open Dec. 19-Dec. 22, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The office will be closed Dec. 23-Jan. 2, and will reopen for in-person services starting Jan. 3.

Zoom Help Desk
Check the Admissions and Records website for information on fall hours for the Zoom help desk.
- Visit the A&R virtual help desk to speak with someone – about registration, admissions or your student records – via online video
- No appointment is required. Students are served on a first-come, first-served basis. After joining the Zoom session, there may be a wait.
Note: You'll need to show a valid photo ID before we can discuss any matters related to your student account or records.

Assessment Center
The Assessment Center will be open Dec. 19-Dec. 22, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Bookstore
You can purchase all your books and materials for winter quarter anytime through the Bookstore's new online store at deanzastore.com.
- Search the Bookstore site for course materials by class, or enter your CWID to see a list of your courses and required materials.
The on-campus store, located on the ground floor of the RSS Building, is open for in-store pickup and shopping, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday-Friday during the first two weeks of winter quarter.
- From week three onward the Bookstore will be open 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Monday-Thursday

Cashier's Office
The Cashier's Office will be open Dec. 19-Dec. 22, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The office will be closed Dec. 23-Jan. 2, and will reopen for in-person services starting Jan. 3.
You can pay all fees online when you register for classes or by clicking on the Bill Payment icon in the Apps section of MyPortal.

The Office of College Life will be closed Dec. 19-Jan. 6. College Life will reopen for services starting Jan. 9, the first day of winter quarter.

Counseling
- Counselors and academic advisers are available to meet by phone, email and Zoom video.

- Students who have attended De Anza for at least two quarters are also welcome to contact the General Counseling and Advising Center (see below).

Food Pantry

Health Services
During the winter quarter, students have the option of visiting the virtual clinic or making an in-person appointment.
COVID-19 Testing
Health Services will continue to offer COVID-19 PCR testing on campus. Visit the COVID-19 Health Information page for details on testing times, location and instructions for registering.
Virtual Clinic
Current students can visit the Health Services virtual clinic for services. The virtual clinic uses online video that is HIPAA-compliant for privacy and security, so students can talk with a health care provider about issues including women’s health, birth control, community resources and referrals. To schedule an appointment, send an email to deanzahealthservices@deanza.edu
You can also visit Wellness Central, an online resource for students. You can see a list of available low-cost clinics and resources in Santa Clara County as well.
In-Person and Remote Assistance
Call or email Health Services to make an in-person appointment. Appointment fees apply for all visits. The Health Services office is located on the lower level of the Campus Center. Their fall hours are as follows:

Computers Available During Summer Session
- Laptop computers (Apple and Dell) are available for checkout during Library hours. Most laptops can be checked out for the duration of the quarter. Short-term laptop check outs are also available.
- Chromebooks can be checked out for the duration of the quarter.
- iPads can be checked out for the duration of the quarter.
- Desktop computers are available in the reference area during Library hours (9 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday-Friday)
- Desktop computers (Apple and Dell) are also available in the Library Computer Lab (LC 113) during Library hours. These computers have Adobe Creative Cloud software.
- TI-84 calculators can be checked out for the duration of the quarter.
- Printing is available in the Computer Lab from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Thursday.
Tech Assistance/Software Support
- Tech help with Canvas, Zoom, MyPortal and other online learning tools is available from the Library Computer Lab's expert technicians, during designated hours. Check back soon for the schedule.
