How to Reach Student Services
The De Anza campus is reopening on a limited basis, with many student services available in person – mostly by appointment – on a limited schedule. You can also reach these offices and other campus services by email, phone or Zoom video.
Below on this page, you'll find a list of campus offices and programs, and how to reach them. Please check individual department or program websites for detailed schedules.
All campus offices and programs will be closed for the following holidays this spring:
- Memorial Day Weekend: Saturday, May 28 - Monday, May 30
- Juneteenth: Monday, June 20

If you are planning to be on campus – for a class, a meeting or any reason:
- You must upload proof of vaccination against COVID-19 and wear a face mask indoors.
- You will need to show proof of vaccination before entering the Library and the RSS Building

Admissions and Records
In-Person Assistance
- We're available – by appointment only
- Mondays and Tuesdays: 9 a.m. to noon
- Wednesdays and Thursdays: noon to 3 p.m.

Zoom Help Desk
- Visit the A&R virtual help desk to speak with someone – about registration, admissions or your student records – via online video
- No appointment is required. Students are served on a first-come, first-served basis. After joining the Zoom session, there may be a wait.
Note: You'll need to show a valid photo ID before we can discuss any matters related to your student account or records.

Assessment Center
While we're currently unable to offer in-person assessment or exams, you can complete the assessment process and take a science exam online.

Bookstore
You can purchase all your books and materials for spring quarter through the Bookstore's new online store at deanzastore.com.
- Search the Bookstore site for course materials by class, or enter your CWID to see a list of your courses and required materials.
The on-campus store, located on the ground floor of the RSS Building, is also open for in-store pickup and shopping, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday-Friday for the first two weeks of spring quarter (April 3-16). Check the store hours page for updates after April 16.

You can pay all fees online when you register for classes or by clicking on the Bill Payment icon in the Apps section of MyPortal.

In-Person and Online Assistance
- In spring quarter, the office will be open for limited hours in person, Tuesday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., at the College Life office on the lower level of the Campus Center

Counseling
- Counselors and academic advisers are available to meet by phone, email and Zoom video.
- Use the Our Counselors directory to locate the webpage for your program counselor, where you will find information on how to contact them or schedule a meeting.
- Students who have attended De Anza for at least two quarters are also welcome to contact the General Counseling and Advising Center (see below).
General Counseling and Advising Center
Counselors are available to meet by phone, email, Zoom videoconference or by using the Online Adviser.
In spring quarter the Counseling Center will be operating remotely on the following schedule:
- Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Friday, 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

Dining Services
Dining Services will be closed from Friday, March 25 and will reopen for spring quarter starting Wednesday, April 6.
The Food Court is located on the upper level of the Campus Center.
- Open Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Individual food stations have varied hours.
- Grill burger station open until 3 p.m.
- Chicken nugget and fries station open until 4 p.m.
- Sandwich and salad station open until 4 p.m.
- Pizza station open until 4 p.m.

Food Pantry
- Food pickup will be available at a location outside the Outreach office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (except for the second and fourth Tuesday of the month) from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
- The Mobile Food Pantry will be available on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month, 1-3 p.m.

Health Services
In spring quarter, students have the option of visiting the virtual clinic or making an in-person appointment.
COVID-19 Testing
Health Services will continue to offer COVID-19 PCR testing on campus. Visit the COVID-19 Health Information page for details on testing times, location and instructions for registering.
Virtual Clinic
Current students can visit the Health Services virtual clinic for services. The virtual clinic uses online video that is HIPAA-compliant for privacy and security, so students can talk with a health care provider about issues including women’s health, birth control, community resources and referrals. To schedule an appointment, send an email to dahealthclerk@deanza.edu.
You can also visit Wellness Central, an online resource for students. You can see a list of available low-cost clinics and resources in Santa Clara County as well.
In-Person Assistance – By Appointment Only
Call or email Health Services to make an in-person appointment. Appointment fees apply for all visits starting in spring quarter. The Health Services office is located on the lower level of the Campus Center.

Library
The Library will be closed from March 28 for spring break and reopen for spring quarter starting April 6.
- In spring quarter the Library will be open Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Laptop computers will be available for check-out to use inside the Library during these hours
- Desktop computers will be available in the reference area during these hours
- The Library Computer Lab (LC 113) will be open Monday-Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Desktop computers and printing will be available in the computer lab
- On Thursdays, the Computer Lab should be entered from the outside of the building facing the Sunken Garden.

Tech Assistance/Software Support

Psychological Services
Psychological Services will be closed and unavailable from March 25 at 2 p.m. until the start of spring quarter classes on April 6. If you have an emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest hospital. If you need support, see the Psychological Services homepage for a list of 24-hour hotlines.
In-Person Assistance
Starting in the week of April 11, staff members from Psychological Services will be available in the Campus Center every Tuesday from noon to 5 p.m. and every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Students are welcome to stop by and learn about our services or make an appointment for counseling.
- We'll be in the Don Bautista Room (Room 256) on the upper level of the Campus Center.
Group Sessions and Individual Counseling
