Critical Reading, Writing and Thinking
Course Description
This course allows students to develop critical thinking skills and the ability to apply these skills to reading and writing. Students will practice analytical and argumentative academic essays based on the reading of complex texts, and the use of outside research leading to analysis, comparison and synthesis, and a documented research paper.

EWRT-002-01D: LEARNING COMMUNITY. Requires concurrent enrollment in ARTS 1A.62D (CRN 37197). For more information contact Kristin Skager at skagerkristin@fhda.edu. This is an online class with SOME scheduled meetings as noted in the class syllabus. The rest of the class can be completed independently each week on the student's own time.
