Critical Consciousness and Social Change
An exploration of issues related to social change including the development of ways of thinking that promote social change. Students will read classical and contemporary authors on movements for social change, strategies for organizing, and the development of consciousness.

Students must have access to a computer, the internet and an individual email address. Most De Anza classes will use the Canvas course management system. This class involves 12 hours of active work making a difference in our communities. The course has been modified so that this does not involve more time than a regular class.
