Introduction to College
This course is an introduction to De Anza College that includes information about programs, services, policies, degrees, certificates, transfer requirements, and college culture. Students will focus on strategies needed for academic success and development of a preliminary Comprehensive Educational Plan.

Footnote InformationCOUN-005.01Z: This class is a short term class that meets 1/31/22 - 2/4/22. There is one scheduled online meeting on Wednesday from 11:30am - 12:20pm. The remaining coursework can be completed independently. Students must have access to a computer, the internet and an individual email address. Most De Anza classes will use the Canvas course management system. We recommend a laptop or desktop computer to successfully complete the course; a tablet or phone may not be adequate for all assignments and tests.
