NURS 91BL
Fundamentals of Nursing/Sub-Acute Clinical
Course Description
The focus of this course is on the application of concepts learned in the theory class for the management of nursing care of clients requiring rehabilitative and/or long-term nursing care. Students will use the nursing process, research, problem-solving and clinical judgment skills to facilitate culturally congruent care for patients in the sub-acute clinical setting. The learning experience will be enhanced with clinical simulation and observation activities. Both NURS 91BL and NURS 91B must be taken and passed concurrently within the same quarter. Failure of either component requires both courses to be retaken.
