About Transfer Planning

Successful transfer requires careful planning and course selection. Students can learn more about transfer requirements and guaranteed admission opportunities to four-year colleges and universities by enrolling in Counseling (COUN) 50: Introduction to College (1 unit). After completing COUN 50 students are encouraged to consult periodically with a De Anza College counselor or academic adviser to review and update their educational plan for transfer.

As part of its transfer services mission, De Anza College has established formal articulation agreements and a transfer admission agreement/guarantee (TAA/TAG) program with select four-year colleges and universities.

Fall 2018 CSU Supplemental Application

Students who submitted a Fall 2018 Cal State University application may be required by CSU campuses to submit a supplemental application in January to ensure that an applicant’s most current academic information, including Fall 2017 grades and courses planned for Winter/Spring 2018, is available to the CSU.

If required for admissions consideration, transfer applicants will be notified by individual CSU campuses in January 2018 to complete the respective supplemental application by a specified deadline (varies by campus).

Visit the applicable CSU Admissions Office website for more information about their supplemental application.
