WHAT IS YOUR BUSINESS WORTH? (435*)
 is workshop is designed to teach business owners how to assess the value of their business and how to protect that value. Topics covered include business evaluation, continuity, buy-sell agreements, key person provisions, partnership protection and supplemental retirement plans for small and medium-sized businesses. Students will receive a detailed booklet on these topics, and a sample business succession plan.
Instructor: Roy  omas Snarr is the founder of Snarr Financial Insurance Services and has been working with Bay Area businesses for 10 years. Tracy Tamura has more than 20 years of experience working with business owners.  ey have helped hundreds of small and medium- sized businesses create an enduring legacy through proper succession planning.

ESTATE
PLANNING 101 (436*)
 is workshop covers the fundamentals
of creating a successful estate plan. Topics covered include taxes, probate, medical directives, power of attorney designations, estate liquidity, long term care, property ownership, bene ciary designations and advance directives. Students will receive
a detailed booklet on these topics and a sample estate plan.  e goal for this class is to educate families and business owners on how to assess the value of their estate and how to preserve it.

INVESTMENT AND FINANCIAL PLANNING MADE EASY (057*)
In this  ve-session class, presenters will guide students through a series of basic investment concepts and strategies designed to promote  nancial education and awareness.  e instructors will cover tax-saving strategies, review the advantages and disadvantages of tax-free income, and provide an extensive discussion of pre- and post-retirement planning. Additional topics include bonds, mutual funds, annuities, real estate, portfolio planning, economic hedging and asset allocation.
Instructors: Jim Curran and Debbie Peri have combined experience of more than 50 years
in retirement planning, portfolio analysis and investment management.

SMART MONEY AND REAL ESTATE FINANCE (416*)
 is course explores the risks, bene ts
and costs of various loan product options. Students will learn how to shop intelligently for a mortgage, how interest rates are set and how to evaluate closing costs.  e class will include a demonstration of live pricing to show the ways in which credit, down payments and other factors a ect overall pricing and lenders’ competitive strategies.
