 MEDITATION, CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION (432*)
 is workshop teaches meditation and music and mindfulness exercises to create a mood of calm that optimizes focus and clarity. Students will practice two techniques to break through creative blocks and free the imagination.  e  rst is creative visualization and the second is a simple framework that helps to manage the primary creative modes. Students can then apply these techniques to real-life situations and handle them more e ectively.
Instructor: Dada Nabhaniilananda has
been a monk for nearly 40 years and is a meditation instructor, author, keynote speaker and musician. He has appeared on stage with the Dalai Lama, taught or performed in more than 40 countries and has given presentations for TEDx, NVIDIA, Google, CISCO, Lam Research, Intel and Facebook.
Class requirements: Must be age 16 or older. Students under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, who does not need to register.
Cost: $59
Materials fee: $15 for book

MEDITATION FOR HEALTH, HAPPINESS AND SUCCESS (433*)
 is class will cover meditational methods to strengthen the body and mind.  ese methods will help students reduce stress and anxiety, gain greater happiness, improve sleep, reduce chronic pain and lower blood pressure. Students will also learn how to increase energy, improve their immune system, alleviate depression, sharpen concentration and memory, and increase  exible thinking and resiliency – while gaining compassion, empathy, insight, creativity and wisdom.
Instructor: Jessica Huai has trained under renowned meditation masters at the Larung Gar Buddhist Academy in east Tibet. She has taught meditation at Foothill College and leading tech companies.
Class requirements: Must be age 16 or older. Students under 18 must take the class with an adult who has also registered. Students should bring a meditation cushion or yoga mat.
Cost: $54

A MINDFUL APPROACH TO PARENTING (441*)
Many parents  nd it exhausting to support their children as they confront social pressures and the emotional roller coaster of growing up today. Serious behavioral issues, ADD, anxiety or depression can
be even more challenging.  is  ve-
week mindfulness class will provide an understanding of how children are a ected by the pace of modern life. Parents will
get practical tips on how to support and empower their children.
Instructor: Jennifer Je coat, CEO and founder of Mindful Ways, is a certi ed mind and body practitioner, a certi ed mindful childbirth and parent educator. She has been teaching mindfulness for over 22 years.
