MBOT DEVELOPMENT – GRADES 6-10 (421*)
 is course consists of practical problem- solving scenarios in programming machines to become mobile and communicate with other devices. Participants will demonstrate how to assemble such devices, then program them using the Arduino platform and forward the data to a personal computer,
the Internet and mobile devices to control indexing and movement. mBot has been developed around the concept of STEM education, and this course provides an introduction to these disciplines.
Instructor: Eya Badal is a longtime so ware engineer who is currently pursuing an advanced so ware engineering degree.
She has a knack for making di cult topics understandable.
Class requirements: Tablet or laptop with a USB port to connect to the internet.

PYTHON FOR KIDS AND TEENS – GRADES 6-10 (404*)
 is course introduces core Python programming basics such as data types, control structures, algorithm development and program design with functions. Students will learn how to de ne new object classes and create interactive applications with buttons.  ey also will learn about animation and creating an interactive game using the Python language.  e course discusses
the fundamental principles of object- oriented programming, as well as data and information processing techniques.
