Review Information
In order to study intermolecular forces you will need to be able to draw a Lewis Structure and determine the molecular geometry of a compound. Please review Lewis Theory and VSEPR if you are rusty on these topics.
Lewis Theory Worksheet: Provide the Lewis structure, electron geometry, molecular geometry, and indicate whether the molecule is polar or non polar.
Practice Problems
Do the interpret exercises as you read the text plus the odd numbered end-of-chapter problems as well. It is crucial that you READ the text and do many practice problems. Coming to lecture is not enough to succeed in the course.
