Projects
Much of my current time is spent working either on a dissertation or on developing/revising philosophy courses. I'm particularly interested in integrating elements of popular culture into philosophical discussions, and have been reworking traditional course models with this aim in mind (see the PHIL01 syllabus for an example of this).
I've taught in the past for the Clemente Course in the Humanities, a course offering free college-level instruction economically and educationally disadvantaged persons. I found this to be tremendously rewarding, and continue to find my teaching practices shaped by the experience.
I also like to spend time writing and recording music.
