Email Information

E-mail to Instructor

I receive many emails and some require a response, while others do not. The college has a spam service and I accumulate over 100 emails in the folder every day.

For those of you that would like a response, I would like you, as students, to follow a few rules.

  1. In subject line: Math 114, TTh
Some identification so I know that it is to be read.
The subject, Math, never goes to the spam folder.
  2. Salutation, or greeting.
Again, some identification so I know that I should read the message.
    Example: Mr. Tsuji, Hello,
  3. Short message that has proper grammar and spelling. Make your English teacher proud. Use the spell checker.
No abbreviation, or short cuts in spelling. Leave the abbreviations, short cuts for your phone friends, not your college instructor.
  4. Closing, with name.
It helps to identify the sender.
    Example: Thank you
George Burns, math 114, TTh 6:30
