This examination will cover chapter 1, sec 6 - 7, chapter 2, sec 6, chapter 3, chapter
4 sec 1 - 6
The exam will have approximately 45 problems.
Some of the topics that will be covered on this exam will be:
Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of fractions.
Vocabulary that is associated with the above operations
Simplification of Complex fractions
Reducing fractions
Find common denominators
Solve equations using integers
Area of parallelogram, rectangle, triangle
Evaluate algebraic expressions
Writing algebraic expressions
To help your memory, one 8.5 inch by 11 inch paper can be used with the exam. This paper must be hand written.
