Evaluation and Grade Scale
The grades will be determined as follows:400 points 4 Exam - each 100 points
130 points 15 Quizzes - in class - 10 points each, 2 will not count
75 points 5 Quizzes - take home - 15 points each
125 points 27 assignments - 5 points each, 2 will not count
200 points 1 Final Examination
930 points total points possible
Grade Scale
837 - 930 points A (90%)
744 - 836 points B (80%)
651 - 743 points C (70%)
558- 650 points D (60 %)
0 - 557 points F
No extra credit is given. Do not ask. You should try to obtain the points available before asking for extra.
A grade sheet will be passed out after each examination. If there is an error, be sure to notify the instructor.
Every absence after the third will result in a deduction of one percentage point from your final grade percentage in the class.
