Governor's Proposed Budget Impact on Colleges

Dear Colleagues,
Over the weekend, we improved our district impact charts on our Budget Advocacy Action
Center. Now, we display http://www.ccleague.net/district-budget-impact/
three scenarios for each district (see a chart of FHDA's scenarios
below), including the level of cuts if the governor's budget is adopted
as proposed, and what happens under two scenarios if the tax extensions
are not approved by the public. Please note that, because there is no
specific proposal on the table, these district impacts do not weight the
cuts based on course retention (the "census" proposal).
I hope
this is particularly helpful for those of you coming to Sacramento this
weekend for the Annual Legislative Conference as you meet with your
legislators to explain the impact of the proposed budget on your
college(s).
