Orientation to medical terminology; basic structure of medical terms and their components-prefixes, suffixes and roots with emphasis on analysis, definition, spelling and pronunciation.

DVD checkout through the Learning Center West Computer Lab or video streamed to the desktop (high-speed Internet connection required.) Concurrent enrollment in other HTEC courses is not necessary.
