About Short Courses
For almost 30 years, De Anza College Community Education has cultivated the concept of lifelong learning for all members of our community. Dedicated to the idea that the college is the center of learning and forward advancement for the community, our courses offer educational opportunities through non-credit, fee-based classes and activities designed to serve youth through adults. Our classes offer educational opportunities that will enrich the lives of people both personally and professionally.
Classes We Offer
Short Courses offers innovative short-term classes covering a wide variety of topics and disciplines. A Course Catalog is produced each Spring and Winter featuring educational and engaging classes in several different categories:

- Online Learning for Children through Adults
Fitness & Wellness Center
Community Education also manages memberships for De Anza's Fitness Center. With a non-intimidating atmosphere and easy-to-use strength and cardiovascular equipment, De Anza College’s Lifetime Fitness & Wellness Center is the perfect choice for you to reach your health and wellness goals. Whether you are just starting or returning to regular exercise, we can help you continue a healthier lifestyle with regular exercise and supervision.
Teach a Class
We are always looking to enhance our course offerings with the wide variety of enriching, exciting and enlightening additional classes that you have to offer! Community Education reviews new course proposals on an ongoing basis and if your course proposal garners interest, we will contact you shortly after the proposal due date.
- Winter/Spring Quarters (January-June) no later than June 1
- Summer/Fall Quarters (July-December) no later than January 1
