The De Anza Associated Student Body (DASB) represents the students' interests on college and district committees developing college policies.
Senate Meetings

The DASB Senate normally meets on Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m., except at 4:30 p.m. for the first meeting of the month, in the Student Council Chambers on the lower level of the Hinson Campus Center.
The DASB Senate normally does not meet the first week of the quarter, the week before finals, finals week, or during quarter breaks.
Students interested in attending DASB Senate meetings, or becoming involved in the DASB Senate should call 408.864.8429/8694, or pick up an application in the Student Activities Office or download the form.
What Does DASB Fund?
The Student Body provides funds needed to support programs and services such as the following:
- Athletics
- Campus publicity services
- Clubs / Inter Club Council (ICC)
- Creative Art productions
- DASB Flea Market
- Entertainment
- Guest speakers
- Legal aid
- Open Media Lab
- Seminars
- Student Services such as the Tutorial and Academic Skills Center
