Multiple Intelligences/Gardner - Part 1
As a group you will prepare a 15 minute presentation for the midterm.
This assignment is worth 25 points. Each person needs to participate in this project
and present some form of the activity.
1. As a new classroom teacher how would you reach the students in your class using at least 5 out of the 8 multiple intelligences presenting a science lesson to fifth graders? You need to present your lesson and involve the class in an activity. Make sure you name the intelligences used in your presentation.
2. There will be 4 members in each group.
a) One person explains the goals and objectives of the lesson to the class. Turn a written copy into your folder.
b) The next person gives the directions for the activity to the class making sure every student understands how to implement it. Turn a written copy into your folder.
c) This person oversees the activity. Are the students participating? What is going on? Write up your report and turn it into your folder. What happened during the activity? Write up a report and turn it into your folder. Explain to the students in the class what happened during the activity after it is finished..
d) Assessment: This person assesses the learning process. Did everyone participate? How did you assess them for their learning process? Did you give them a short quiz?(written or verbal) What feedback was necessary to show that the material was mastered? Turn a written copy of how you assessed the class into your folder . Explain your assessment to the class after the presentation.
3. You have 20 minutes to present. Be concise as possible. You will be graded by using the rubric.
Turn in a written one page paper describing what your part was in the presentation.
Part 2
A multiple choice test worth 25 points. This will assess topics covered in class. Scantron #2050 is needed.
