About Me

Take a moment to appreciate yourself and remember that nothing may be more important than your well-being.

Biography

I have been teaching at De Anza College since 2005. Before coming to De Anza, I have taught at Santa Clara University, Rutgers University, Rider University, and San Jose State University. Currently, I divide my time between De Anza College and San Jose/Evergreen Community Colleges. My interests are in composition, reading, fiction, fantasy, and drama. I have publications on South Asian literature and conference papers on dramatic literature. As an undergraduate student, I wrote plays for television and radio and even hosted shows.

Teaching, however, is my greatest passion and students are sources of inspiration.  I believe reading, writing, and learning are great fun, and education should be uplifting, illuminating, and above all, enjoyable. De Anza College and its community have given me some of the most intellectually fulfilling times of my life.
