The goal of the meeting was to review and discuss the divisions’ Instructional Equipment requests.
Academic Services – Request for a color printer to print flyers. Question on if outreach flyers could be printed at the print shop and charged to instructional equipment.
Auto Tech – New transmission dynamometer – requested 3 times through Measure C. No Perkins available at this time but maybe in the future. A room has already been built for this equipment.
BHES – 25 iPads for Microbiology class. For hands-on experience in-class only.
Perkins fund for NURS and HTEC. Videos need to be listed out. Are the videos/DVDs requested available via the Library?
ES – looking for another source of money
CA – Shuttle Kiln request. Question if a new kiln is required or if the existing one can be modified. Look at enrollment. Look for donations and another source of money?
Camera for Dance class. Any alternative solutions?
Photo (ATC 101 & A92) – classroom projectors? – ETS request
PE – WiFi - ETS request should be place
SSH - Anthropology needs to provide more details on questions on 1 and 4.
GEO – dimmer switchers are a facilities request. Check the library for items requested.
SOC – check library for items requested. District Standard computers - from ETS
J-STOR subscription request look for alternative funds i.e. Lottery. Where to house 25 laptops? Need to have space first (need a comp lab) suggestions communicate through deans if space available.
