* Charges for Lost or Damaged Materials:
- Books: fair market value + $5.00 processing fee.
- Nonprint items: fair market value + $10.00 processing fee.
Reserves:
Reserve materials have been set aside by instructors for class use. These materials are kept behind the Circulation Desk and have various checkout periods. Students depend on the availability of Reserve materials, therefore, the overdue fines for Reserves are higher than other library materials.

Patrons must wait a minimum of 30 minutes before renewing or checking out the same reserve item. This policy is to assure that other students have access to the materials.
Library Notices:
- All library overdue notices and bills are sent to patrons as a courtesy.
- It is the patron's responsibility to keep the library informed of e-mail or telephone changes.
- All library notices and bills are sent through e-mail, using the address supplied at registration.
- Please note that whether or not you receive the courtesy library notice, you are responsible for returning your material by the designated due date and for paying any overdue fines and replacement charges.
Library Blocks:
- Patrons with overdue fines totaling more than $12.00 or 5 or more overdue items (regardless of accrued fines), will be blocked from borrowing any additional materials.
- Patrons with overdue fines totaling more than $12.00 or 5 or more overdue items (regardless of accrued fines), will be blocked from using the library computer labs.
- A library block, or hold, will be placed on a student's record with the Registrar's Office once a patron's library status is blocked.
- The library block will remain in effect until the materials are returned and the fines are paid or the replacement charges are paid.
