About Me
Hi everyone!
I came to the U.S. from India more than 30 years ago as a doctoral student at Cleveland State University. I earned my PhD in Cancer Biology at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. I also completed an MBA at San Jose State University and a two-year postdoctoral program in Microbiology at Santa Clara University.
I've been teaching biology for over 15 years at colleges and universities in both the U.S. and India, and I've been part of the De Anza College community for more than 10 years. Along with teaching, I also work as a vice president of sales and business development at a biotech company in the Bay Area — so I love bringing real-world science experience into the classroom!
