Attendance

Regular and punctual attendance is expected of each student. If you are enrolled, then you are expected to attend all zoom classes the entire time specified by the college. If you miss a zoom class during the first two weeks, you may be dropped to make room for the wait list students.

Add codes will be given upon request.

Email me for the add code.

Students will be allowed three absences. On the fourth absence, the student should complete the paper work for a drop or a grade of F may be given for the quarter.

Attendance Penalty.

Every absence after the third will result in a deduction of one percentage point from your final grade percentage in the class.

Example: 5 absences. 5 - 3 = 2. Therefore two percentage points will be deducted from your final grade percentage.  So a 75% will be 73%

If you decide not to continue with the class, it is the student's responsibility to drop the class. If you have more than four absences, then you may be dropped.

Due to federal restrictions related to financial aid, after the drop deadline but before the withdrawal deadline, if you stop attending class I am also required to drop you from the course. If you stop attending class for whatever reason, especially before the drop deadline, you must contact me to ensure you are not removed from the course.

If you are on final report form, you will receive a grade.

Attendance will be recorded every time the class meets . It is the student's responsibility to insure that his/her presence at class is recorded.

Difficulties that could cause attendance problems should, at the student’s initiative, be discussed with the instructor as early as possible.
