CTE (Career Technical Education) Fund:
Bdzil presented an overview of the CTE fund CTEEF Fact Sheet. She briefly reviewed the background and explained in detail the CTE Enhancement Preliminary distribution among divisions. Bdzil displayed the FTES Summary By Program sheet and pointed out the comparison between the numbers of job openings vs. the number of the course completions per program. This data will help the committee identify instructional areas that are in most need of funding.
Bdzil reported that the amount of the requests from the divisions exceeded the Grant allowance. Espinosa-Pieb suggested the members review the divisions’ requests and determine if some of them would qualify for other funding in order to satisfy most requests. She told the members that she would bring data on all three fund sources to the next meeting and discuss eligibility.

The committee supported the deans’ request of extending the deadline of submission of the additional Lottery requests.
