I. Budget Discussion – Handout #1
At the March 11 College Council meeting a decision was made to revisit end-of-year fiscal projections and the use of “staff protection fund” dollars to postpone for one year, a small number of layoffs district-wide currently slated for June 30, 2010. College Council met today to review the PBT proposals and criteria used in this process. The criteria used by all PBTs included student support, Banner implementation work, accreditation and program maintenance.
C. Espinosa-Pieb distributed a list including 7 positions for which postponement of layoff is recommended to the end of December 2010 or June 2011. College Council approved the process and list which will be discussed at the April 5, 2010 Board meeting
