Approval of Notes: Approval of notes tabled until meeting of June 14, 2022.
DASG Report: Anita C reported there was no DASG meeting on June 1, 2022. She added to the report out for the meeting of May 25, 2022. Ways in which DASG could take a more active role in the Flea Market events were discussed. Students considered establishing an event that would bring alumni DASG together with incoming DASG members. Dr. Lee presented to DASG on ways to increase inclusion in the DASG. Students approved supporting the Heritage Month Workgroup.
Annual Governance Reflection Survey: Mallory N. guided the IPBT members through answering questions designed for each shared governance group to reflect on how their group’s work helped fulfill our mission, values, strategic initiatives, Institutional Core Competencies, and commitment to equity; to reflect on the group’s processes and procedures; and, to reflect on the extent to which the group successfully disseminated information on our discussions and decisions. The summary of responses will be posted as Assessment of Shared Governance on College Planning Committee page.
Apply rubric to a Program Review: As a group IPBT members continued with Biology as the trial department giving feedback to each area of the program review. The group agreed that column labeled “Recommendations” and the column labeled “Questions for Department” should be combined into one. This resulted in Program Review Trial Rubric Version 2.
