All raffle proceeds will fund scholarships for students who are involved with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) issues.
Raffle drawing prizes were donated by two former Puente mentors and the Cortez family.
About DACA
Approved by President Obama last year and not perfect by any means, DACA gives undocumented students long overdue rights, including
- the right to work legally,
- the right to apply for a Drivers License, and
- the right to live in this country without fear of deportation.
While wonderful, the DACA application process is costly and prohibitive for many of our students.
Buy Your Raffle Tickets!
The raffle drawing will be held on Friday, May 17 at the annual Puente graduation ceremony.
You need not be present to win and may buy as many tickets as you'd like to increase your support of our students and chances to win a prize!

DACA Dream Scholarships
DACA Dream Scholarships will be awarded to students on Friday, June 21. The scholarship application is available on the FHDA scholarship website.
