I Belong
This piece is a self-portrait inspired by my experiences with racism and xenophobia growing up in a rural environment severely lacking in racial diversity. While this is a personal piece, I aim to evoke empathy within the viewer around racism and make it a human issue again.

A Typical Day
I recreated what an average day in my life might look like through the eyes of a surrealist. The hourglass and the sand path spilling from it is meant to represent the time in a day, and the objects on it symbolize what I go through. The eyeball overlooking the entire scene represents me as a passive observer in my everyday life.

Restless Waters
I wanted to capture the tumultuous nature of water in an abstracted way. Water in real life distorts the way we see things around us, much like how abstraction is derived from visual reality and recreates that in a unique way.

Distorted Reality
This photograph is a part of a series exploring the unique way that both water and glass alter our view of reality.
