    Approval of Notes April 21, 2020 – postponed.

    DASB Report – DASB Finance is working on a research to look into alternative and diversified sources of revenue and how best to increase efficiency in the budget request and deliberation process.

    Results of Student Survey – The Spring 2020 Covid-19 survey was sent to all students registered for the spring quarter the Monday before the quarter was traditionally scheduled to start (15,067 students) and the Monday of Flex week (15,691 students). The purpose of the survey was to better understand the needs of students as the college transitions to a fully online spring quarter. 3,185 responses were collected, resulting in a 20% response rate.

    The Faculty Spring 2020 survey was sent to all full and part time faculty teaching in spring 2020 to better understand their technology needs for a fully online spring quarter. The survey was sent to faculty members on the second day of the quarter and was open for two weeks. It resulted in 217 responses.

    Dawn Lee Tu requested to conduct the faculty survey again by the end of the quarter. For the faculty to have an opportunity to reflect on their experience and planning for summer and fall.

    Instructional Hiring Committee Update – Accounting, Automotive Technology, Film/TV, Nursing, Mathematics, Psychology. Deans shared updates where they were at the faculty hiring process.

    Before the end of the quarter IPBT will be asking the deans to have names for the tenure review committees so that we ready to go in fall.

    Academic Senate will reach out for At-large candidates to serve on Tenure Review committee.

    Resource Allocation Preparation – General discussion of questions for Divisions/ Department. The team approved the questions that were ready to be shared with the deans. Deans requested to post the questions on Office 365 for deans to answer. A question is to be added to each division’s questions regarding what resources are needed to improve student equity.
