About Short Courses
For almost 30 years, De Anza College Community Education has cultivated the concept of lifelong learning for all members of our community. Dedicated to the idea that the college is the center of learning and forward advancement for the community, our courses offer educational opportunities through non-credit, fee-based classes and activities designed to serve youth through adults. Our classes offer educational opportunities that will enrich the lives of people both personally and professionally.
Classes We Offer
Short Courses offers innovative short-term classes covering a wide variety of topics and disciplines. Course catalogs (to the right) are produced twice annually featuring educational and engaging classes in several different categories:
- Arts & Music
- Astronomy & Science
- Careers & Certifications
- De Anza College Academy (1st-12th Grades)
- Finance & Real Estate
- Health & Wellness
- Online Learning for Children through Adults
Fitness & Wellness Center
The Lifetime Fitness and Wellness Center will be closing on June 28, 2019. Due to budgetary constraints, the college has made the difficult decision to discontinue operating the center and will not accept new Fitness Center registrations after spring quarter.
The college is working with the city-run Cupertino Sports Center, across the street from campus, to provide a generous discount for current patrons of the De Anza Fitness Center. We will be providing more information to current registered patrons soon.
Thank you to all who have used and supported the Lifetime Fitness and Wellness Center.
