You're Invited: UndocuWelcome on Sept. 8+9
Dear Student,
Thank you for choosing De Anza College! You’re invited to a special online orientation event, UndocuWelcome 2021: Pursuing Dreams and Building Community, to be held over two days on Sept. 8 and 9.
We are sending you this invitation because you enrolled as an AB 540 student or submitted a California Dream Act Application, and you may find this event of interest. Please be assured that your information is confidential and will not be shared.
This orientation is designed to provide undocumented students – including AB 540 and DACA students – and their families with tips and tools for making the most of the college experience at De Anza. We'll cover academic planning, financial aid and more. Plus: You will also have an opportunity to meet other new students!
The schedule includes
- Student Orientation Day 1: Wednesday, Sept. 8, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
- Student Orientation Day 2: Thursday, Sept. 9, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
- Family Welcome Orientation:* Thursday, Sept. 9, 5:50-8 p.m.
*The Family Welcome Orientation is open to parents, co-parents, caregivers, older brothers or sisters or other support persons. (You're welcome to attend, too.)
