Video Tour Contest Rules

cameraHelp spread the word about our new video tour of the De Anza campus – and enter a random drawing to win an Instax Mini 9 instant camera or Instax Share portable smartphone printer, purchased with donated funds. You can enter three different ways!

  • Contest #1: Like and comment on Facebook
    Instax Mini 9 instant camera
    How to enter: Like and comment about the tour on one of our De Anza College Facebook posts featuring a segment of the video tour. We're posting one segment on Facebook each day from Nov. 1-9, 2018. Enter up to nine times, once for each separate Facebook post, no later than Nov. 9, 2018. 
  • Contest #2: Regram on Instagram
    Prize: Instax Mini 9 instant camera
    Contest change: We're giving away two prizes on Facebook, since there haven't been any regrams of the tour yet. We'll award Instax Mini 9 instant cameras to two fans who enter the random drawing by liking and commenting on our Facebook posts featuring a segment of the video tourno later than Nov. 9.   
  • NEW - Contest Extended! Contest #3: Post from a tour "selfie spot" on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter

    How to enter: Starting Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018, visit any location on the tour, take a selfie next to the official contest poster at that location, and post your selfie on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter – no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, 2018. Your post must include the hashtag #deanzavideotour. Enter up to nine times, provided you post only once from each location.

Important: Additional Terms and Conditions

  • Winners will be chosen from social media posts that are available for public viewing. If you have chosen to restrict viewing by using privacy settings, your entry may not be visible and therefore may not qualify for consideration.
  • Each person may enter Contest #1 up to nine times, by liking or commenting no more than once on each video tour segment that De Anza will post on Facebook from Nov. 1-9, 2018. Entries must be posted no later than Nov. 9, 2018.
  • Each person may enter Contest #3 up to nine times – provided each entry for Contest #3 is a selfie taken at a different designated tour "selfie spot." Only one selfie from each location will count as an entry. Entries must be posted no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, 2018.
  • Winners for Contest #1 and #2 will be randomly selected on Nov. 13, 2018 and notified via social media message, email or college post. The winner for Contest #3 will be randomly selected on Monday, Dec. 19, 2018 and notified via social media message, email or college post. Winners may be announced and identified on De Anza’s website and social media accounts.
  • Winners should be prepared to collect their prize in person. The college may choose to mail the prize, at its discretion, if a winner lives outside the Bay Area.
  • Employees of the De Anza College Office of Communications, or those related to or affiliated with an office employee, are not eligible.
  • Facebook, Instagram and Twitter are not affiliated with, have not endorsed, nor are responsible for, these contests.
