Week 1: April 5, 7
Week 1 Subject: Course Orientation and Part I: Elements of Music
During week 1, you are to familiarize yourself with the Music 1 Website and the course:
- Get Textbook & 7 Scantrons--
- Read and study Chapters 1-3--pages 4-31
- Download Part 1 Outline (completed outlines can be turned in on day of tests for up to 4 points credit on test)
- There are two copies of the textbook on reserve, along with the CDs, on reserve in the Learning Center--use these until you can get a book, but do not procrastinate--they may be in heavy demand.
- Navigate the site: read the resources above, look over the class schedule.
