2022-2023 DASB Budget - Finance Draft Ready

This is a message to all those who submitted DASG Budget Requests for the 2022 2023 fiscal year. The DASG Finance Committee has completed its deliberations and their recommendations are posted below. Please check these documents for the status of your requests.

The recommended budget will be distributed to the DASG Senate and presented as an information item at their meeting on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. The DASG Senate will begin deliberations and is scheduled to have the first vote at its Wednesday, February 9, 2022 meeting. All who have submitted requests will have an opportunity to speak on their funding requests at the February 9th meeting (NOT the February 2nd meeting). Each program area, not individual person, will be allowed up to two (2) minutes maximum to speak on their funding request; the Athletics Director and/or Dean of Physical Education & Athletics will be speaking on behalf of all of the Athletic Teams. There will be a sign in process before the meeting starts and program areas will be called in order of signing in. The DASG Finance Committee's recommendations are not final and the amounts allocated could be increased or decreased by the DASG Senate, therefore it is recommended that you attend the DASG Senate Meeting on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 to speak on your request even if you are happy with their recommendation.

    Final proposed draft presented to DASG Senate as an Information item
  • Wednesday, February 9, 2022
    Final proposed draft presented to DASG Senate as an Action Item for First Vote
  • Wednesday, February 16, 2022
    Final proposed draft with revisions if any presented to DASG Senate as an Action item for Second Vote (tentative)*
  • Monday, May 2, 2022
    DASG Senate approved Budget presented to FHDA Board of Trustees for their approval.
  • Friday, July 1, 2022
    New FHDA Fiscal Year Begins; Funds Become Available

* The date of the Second Vote depends on when the First Vote takes place. If the deliberation is not complete on the 9th it will continue to the 16th and the Second Vote will be pushed to the 23rd. Also, the DASG Budget requires a confirming vote of the same budget without changes between the votes. If any changes take place the day of the Second Vote it goes back to being a First Vote and will require a new date for a confirming Second Vote.
