3:05-3:35	Carry Forward Scenarios & Dollar Amount of SRP Positions	D/R | Chair	Approx. $1,014,949 in unfunded positions that need converting to ongoing funding stream. Need to address for FY 2022/23. Varela shared a carryforward fund balance report. Three scenarios. Base salary for new faculty is $86,394 without benefits. District credited DA $863,937 from SRP funds to use at college’s discretion. Confusion at the amount of money per position that the district allocated for faculty positions.  DA is having a conversation with the district to address the unbalance of resource allocation between the district entities. Concern for future unfunded positions in areas that have grants expiring or need to expand services. Scenario (2) amended to 50% SRP funding. Meeting on 01/21/2022 @ 10:45 to finalize recommendation after members have time to consult with constituents. All figures are estimates based on projections.
