    • Vote: We agree that we have tri chairs for terms for 2 years as representatives and co-chairs, Have voting members staggered - 1 year and 2 year positions for this first term, so not all reps are stepping off at the same time, Carmen is serving as rep for Academic Senate filling in for Kim Palmore,  Vote #: 5 in favor, 0 oppose,
    • Recommendation:  Approve that we make campus police a seat at the EAC?
    • Equity Program-State Equity Partner Initiative
    • Vote: That we have a tri chairs made up of an administrator, faculty and classified, Vote #: 5 in favor, no oppose, 1 abstention,
    • Recommendation Idea 1: Part time faculty is asking for a designated seat in shared governance in academic senate. Per others, this has been an ongoing conversation. Something to note is that academic senate leadership gets compensation; members at large do not get compensation. Part time faculty does not qualify for compensation aka PAA. College Council Update
Current Scenarios on the table with IPBT and Viability
    1. Plan C: would eliminate the Mercy program, football and water polo and took away 2 classified, and $400K and SSSP, SWP?
    2. Plan B: Nursing program not cut, football and water polo to be cut, saving $200K + and only 5-6 classified positions would be taken from the SERP
    3. Plan A: Both nursing and football and water polo kept, but $500K in categorical funds to be  redistributed/re allocated to cover positions that would be eliminated, 5-8 classified positions would be taken from the supplementation early retirement program (SERP) and would not be refilled,
    4. In the meantime, there were reps from Athletics at IPBT and made their case, this is an issue that impacts them as Men of color, and thus can be seen as an equity program, PE Athletics Director offered a plan to reduce program and was given 2 weeks to come up with said plan
    5. SSSP, BSI, & Equity fund 15 transfers, elimination of paralegal and a reduction of the dance department, possible elimination of football and water polo, waiving faculty savings of $1.2K, and not development new faculty, SEPR is 5-7, ACE/Teamsters positions eliminated
    6. Does not include $3.2 million from 1320 fund which has a deficit
    7. If they eliminate overload, summer school is considered an overload, will they eliminate summer school? It opens opportunity for De Anza to be rented out during the summer and make revenue
