What you should know before you book...

Student ID# Required

Complete the De Anza College Application online to get your student id#.

Once your application has been processed you will receive an email that contains your eight digit De Anza Student ID#.

Testing Accommodations

If you had an Individualized Education Program (IEP) in high school, or think that you can benefit from receiving testing accommodations, contact Disability Support Services before making a testing appointment.

Testing Necessities

#1 Review the subject specific test/exam information and study guides before booking!

#2 Always have your valid photo id (driver's license, high school id card, passport, etc.) -- Its required at check-in.

#3 Pencils!

Results Processing

You cannot register for a class until you have received your test/exam results.

Request an appointment at least one (1) month in advance of your registration date.

StandBy Testing Option

If you find that your requested testing session is fully booked, you can request to test as a StandBy.

  • To do this, you should check in with the Assessment Center Front Desk at the time of the testing session.

  • If a seat becomes available, you can test!

  • This service is offered on a first come, first served as seats are available.

Tues & Wed Afternoon Drop-In Testing

Regularly Scheduled Drop-In Testing Session Rules

  • Start your test between 2PM and 3PM on Tuesday or Wednesday.

  • No appointment needed. This service is offered on a first come, first served as seats are available.

  • You must complete your test by 4:45PM.

  • Program schedule subject to change.

 Out-of-Area Testing Option

If you're out of the area or out of the state, we will work with you!

Next Steps:

  • Make sure you're eligible for an assessment!

  • This program is for English and Math placement testing only. ESL placement testing and science exams can only proctored on campus.

  • Download and complete the required steps on the Request for Remote Proctoring Form.

  • Email the completed form to us at daassessment@deanza.edu

  • This process may take up to five (5) business days.

  • Thursday, 9/20--start testing between 1:30PM and 3PM (must finish by 4:30PM).

  • Friday, 9/21--start testing between 10AM and 11AM (must finish by 12:30PM).
