For All New Students
IMPORTANT: All steps must be completed by Tuesday, July 14 to receive priority enrollment.
Step 1 Apply! Do this as early as possible, even if you think you may attend another school. Keep all your options open, and keep your priority registration if you choose De Anza.
Step 2 Declare a major on your application – not "Undecided."
Step 3 Select a goal of transfer, degree or certificate.
Step 4 Take placement tests.
Step 5 Complete orientation.
Step 6 Officially choose your classes. (You'll learn how at orientation.) This is your educational plan.
Step 7 Enroll in – and maintain – 12+ units (full-time status) in order to get the best registration date for continuing quarters.
